PKNIC offers 18 different domain extensions covering the needs of the general public, business, education, government, military, corporate, and research institutes.

In the initial days of the internet, until approximately year 1998, PKNIC offered free domains.
PKNICK is the only organization that Pakistan Government endorses to administrate PK Top-Level domain.
