Price increase announcement for .com and .net domains

Verisign, the company responsible for maintaining registry for .COM, .NET domain, will be once again raising prices from $7.52 to $8.03. This change will apply on both, new and renewal of a registration every year. This upcoming rise in .COM price is going to make an overall 31% or $1.86 rise, in the past four years.

This increase in TLD prices is actually an indication to domain sellers like us that we will have no other option instead to increase our prices, because we are given unjustifiable margins that sometimes are not sufficient to work with.

Well, that’s pretty clear that sticking with out current prices would not be a viable option for us at all. Therefore, creativeON have decided to assess different preferences that where we could cut costs, improve operational efficiency and pass on a smaller percentage of this upcoming rise in TLD prices to you.

CreativeON, continuing with satisfying the needs of our valued customers, has now increased the disk space on the web hosting packages. From now onwards, the disk space on all standard budget packages is increased to four times. Multimedia content driven website are the basic need now a days and packages in MBs will not cater for such websites, which is why CreativeON now has the minimum package with 1GB and the most important thing there is no increase in price – all are being offered on the same price.
